Observation of the effect of modified park double eyelid operation on mild upper eyelid depression
Objective To explore the effect of modified park double eyelid surgery on mild upper eyelid depression.Methods The clinical data of 92 patients with mild upper eyelid depression treated in Xiamen Mylai Medical Cosmetology Hospital from September 2021 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were treated with improved park double eyelid surgery.The depth of upper eyelid depression,overall aesthetic improvement score,postoperative complications and surgical satisfaction were analyzed.Results Compared with before surgery,the depth of upper eyelid depression significantly decreased at 3 and 6 months after surgery,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The overall aesthetic improvement score at 6 months after surgery was higher than that at 3 months after surgery and before surgery,and the overall aesthetic improvement score at 3 months after surgery was higher than that before surgery,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no postoperative scar hyperplasia and excessive correction in 92 patients,1 case was undercorrected,2 cases were bilateral asymmetry,and 1 case was nausea and vomiting.The incidence of postoperative complications was 4.35％(4/92).56 cases were very satisfied,35 cases were satisfied and 1 case was dissatisfied after double eyelid operation with improved park method,the satisfaction rate was 98.91％(91/92).Conclusions The modified park double eyelid surgery has significant surgical effect in the treatment of patients with mild upper eyelid depression,which can help to reduce the depth of upper eyelid depression and improve the overall aesthetic effect of the face,with fewer complications and high satisfaction,which is worthy of popularization and application.
