The effect of orthodontic microimplants on dental aesthetics,oral structure and oral health in patients with Class Ⅱ malocclusion
Objective To analyze the effects of orthodontic microimplants on dental aesthetics,oral structure and oral health in patients with Class Ⅱ malocclusion.Methods According to different orthodontic methods,80 patients with Class Ⅱ malocclusion were divided into two groups of 40 cases each from January 2020 to December 2023 in Ningde Hospital affiliated to Ningde Normal University.The control group and observation group were treated with traditional orthodontic and orthodontic micro-implant,respectively.Results Aesthetics,masticatory function,oral structure and oral health indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Orthodontic microimplants can reduce oral inflammation,improve peridental microenvironment and enhance dental aesthetics in patients with ClassⅡ malocclusion,which is worthy of widespread clinical application.
