Analysis of the nursing effect of skin flap after oral cancer skin flap transplantation surgery
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of skin flap care for oral cancer patients after skin flap transplantation. Methods 80 oral cancer patients admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to March 2024 were selected as the subjects. All patients received skin flap care, and the postoperative mobilization time, complications, and other indicators of this group of patients were observed. The satisfaction rate of nursing was compared, and the negative emotions of patients were evaluated using the Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS).The Washington University Quality of Life Questionnaire(UW-QOL)was used to evaluate the quality of life of patients, and the survival of skin flaps in this group was observed and recorded. Results Among the 80 patients, there was 1 case of pressure ulcer and 2 cases of incision infection, with a total incidence of postoperative complications of 3.75%;The number of surviving skin flaps in this group of patients was 78,accounting for 97.50%;The nursing satisfaction rate was 98.75%,and the survival rate of the skin flap was 97.50%;The drainage and extubation time,as well as postoperative mobilization time, for this group of patients were(3.48±0.29)days and(29.18±2.87)hours,respectively;The depression scores of 80 patients before and after nursing were(53.21±4.71)points and(39.28±3.26)points respectively, and the anxiety scores of patients after nursing were lower than before nursing, with statistical significance(P<0.05);There was a significant difference in the UW-QOL scores of 80 patients before and after nursing, and the UW-QOL scores of patients after nursing were higher than before nursing, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions Intervening in oral cancer skin flap transplantation patients through skin flap care can not only shorten the patient's postoperative mobilization time and drainage and extubation time, but also reduce the number of postoperative complications. It is of great significance for improving patients'negative emotions, enhancing their quality of life, improving patient nursing satisfaction, and skin flap survival rate.
