Objective:To explore the significance of OPD-Scan aberrometer in selecting intraocular lens.Methods:100 cataract patients(120 eyes)who underwent phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation were selected.According to IOL types, they were divided into spherical IOL group and aspherical IOL group.Corneal wavefront aberration was examined 1 day before operation and 3 months after operation respectively, and the changes of patients'indexes were observed. Results:Among Zernik coefficients 1-27,Z4,Z9,Z12 and Z24 showed a decreasing trend(P<0.05).RMS1-6,RMSg and RMSh decreased after operation(P<0.05).RMS3,RMS4,RMS5,RMSg and RMSh in aspheric IOL group after operation were smaller than those in spherical IOL group(P<0.05).The postoperative LogMAR vision of aspheric IOL group was better than that of spherical IOL group(P<0.05).Conclusion:It is found that the aberrations of RMS 1-6,RMSg and RMSh are reduced after cataract surgery by implanting aspherical intraocular lens, and aberration measurement is helpful to choose suitable intraocular lens.
