Application of Ultrasound Guided Nerve Stimulator Assisted Lumbar Plexus Block Anesthesia in Elderly Patients Undergoing Hip Replacement
Objective:To investigate the clinical application of ultrasound guided nerve stimulator assisted lumbar plexus block anesthesia in elderly patients undergoing hip replacement surgery.Methods:60 elderly patients undergoing hip replacement surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into a control group(30 patients receiving general anesthesia alone)and an observation group(30 patients receiving ultrasound guided nerve stimulator assisted lumbar plexus block anesthesia). The anesthetic effects were studied and analyzed. Results:The average arterial pressure at nodes 15 minutes,30 minutes, and 60 minutes after anesthesia in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);The heart rate at nodes 15 minutes,30 minutes,60 minutes, and 90 minutes after anesthesia was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);The total incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);The overall satisfaction with the analgesic effect was higher in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of ultrasound guided nerve stimulator assisted lumbar plexus block anesthesia in elderly patients undergoing hip arthroplasty has a good effect, can ensure the stability of mean arterial pressure and heart rate, improve the level of cerebral oxygen metabolism indicators and nerve factor indicators, reduce the overall incidence of complications, and improve analgesic satisfaction.
