Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Combined External Fixator in Open Comminuted Fracture of Lower Limbs
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of combined external fixator in open comminuted fracture of lower limbs.Methods:80 patients with open lower limb comminuted fracture admitted from January 2020 to July 2022 were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group used plaster immobilization, and the study group used the combined external fixator treatment, comparing the clinical effect, complication rate, and self-management score of the two groups. Results:In terms of clinical efficacy, the total effective rate of the study group was 97.50%,higher than the control group's 80.00%,with a significant difference,P<0.05;Compared with the control group, the study group had a lower probability of developing complications such as wound infection, fracture re displacement, and joint stiffness, with a significant difference,P<0.05;The self-management score of the research group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with a significant difference,P<0.05.Conclusion:In the treatment of patients with open comminuted lower limb fracture, the combined external fixator can improve the clinical effect, prevent complications, and promote the improvement of self-management level.
