The Application of the Counting Card in the Water Washing Mark Instrument Package in the Management of Reusable Surgical Instruments
Objective:To explore the application effect of the inventory card in the self-made washing mark instrument package in the management of reusable operating room instruments.Methods:Taking the reusable surgical instruments used in our hospital from January to December 2020 as the control group,the traditional rubber-like material was used as the instrument card;Taking the reusable surgical instruments used in our hospital from January to December 2021 as the observation group,the washable mark made of composite material was used,and the information such as the name of the instruments and the number of instruments in the instrument package was printed on the washable mark in the form of a table using a special printer,and they were placed in the instrument packages.Comparison of the two groups of instrument inventory card cleaning pass rate,cleaning process adverse events(instrument loss,instrument damage,nosocomial infection,etc.)occurred,packaging time and operating room medical staff satisfaction scores.Results:After sampling 350 pieces,it was found that the qualified rate of cleaning in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of instrument loss,instrument injury,hospital infection and adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The packaging time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05)and the satisfaction score of the operating room medical staff was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the management of reusable instruments in the operating room,the use of the inventory card in the self-made water washing mark instrument package can improve the cleaning qualification rate of the instrument inventory card,reduce the occurrence of adverse events in the cleaning process,shorten the packaging time,and improve the satisfaction of the medical staff in the operating room.
