Analysis of the Effectiveness of FMEA Management Mode in the Management of Reusable Medical Devices in Disinfection Supply Rooms
Objective:To evaluate and analyze the application effect of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis(FMEA)management mode in the management of reusable medical devices in disinfection supply rooms.Methods:120 reusable medical devices during the routine management process of our hospital's disinfection and supply room were regarded as the reference group,with a time distribution boundary of February 2021 to February 2022.At the same time,120 reusable medical devices during the implementation of FMEA management mode in our hospital's disinfection and supply room were selected as the experimental group,with a time distribution boundary of March 2022 to March 2023.The management effectiveness of the two groups of medical devices,the qualification of disinfectant,compare and analyze the occurrence of adverse events and the satisfaction evaluation results of medical staff in relevant departments.Results:Compared to the reference group,the medical device management score and qualified rate of disinfectant concentration in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05),and the probability of adverse events in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the management process of reusable medical devices in the disinfection supply room,the use of FMEA management method can strengthen the effectiveness of medical device management and reduce the probability of adverse events.
