Research Progress in Liver Specific Contrast Agents for MRI Diagnosis of Focal Liver Lesions
Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is the gold standard for detecting and characterizing focal liver lesions,while Gd-EOB-DTPA is a liver specific magnetic resonance contrast agent.Due to its dual intracellular and extracellular contrast effects,it has a high qualitative diagnostic accuracy for focal liver lesions and can provide information on liver cell function.This article first introduces the mechanism of action of liver specific contrast agents,and reviews their research progress in MRI diagnosis of focal liver lesions in combination with previous literature.The aim is to improve clinical physicians'understanding of the application value of liver specific contrast agents in the diagnosis of focal liver lesions.
