The Influence of Macroscopic Hematuria on AVE752 Urinary Dry Chemistry Analysis and Its Treatment Measures
Objective:To explore the impact of gross hematuria on urine routine examination and its management methods, providing reference for clinical practice.Methods:100 patients with hematuria diagnosed and treated in our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were included in the observation study. All patients underwent routine urine tests, and mid stage urine samples were taken. The results of routine urine tests before and after centrifugation treatment were observed and analyzed. Results:There were 25 cases of positive and 75 cases of negative white blood cell esterase detected by sediment microscopy in this group.Using this as the gold standard, the false positive rate of naked eye blood, urine, routine dry chemistry test before centrifugation was 93.33%,and after centrifugation was 36.0%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);In gross hematuria, when red blood cells reach 20×109/L,the white blood cell esterase begins to show±,and at 50-200×109/L,it shows+.At 100×109/L,protein shows+,and ketone bodies appear±;The results of glucose, nitrite, bilirubin, and urinary bilirubin are not affected by the concentration of blood and urine.Centrifuge treatment can basically eliminate ketone body false positives, but cannot eliminate protein false positives. Conclusion:Macroscopic hematuria can have an impact on the results of routine urine examination, but it can be basically eliminated through centrifugation. In clinical practice, the results of microscopic examination should be used as the standard.
