Case Study on the Application of Refined Management of High-Value Medical Consumables in SPD Mode
Objective:To explore the feasibility and effect of supply,processing and distribution(SPD)management model in hospital management.Methods:TZ People's Hospital implemented the SPD model from March 2022 to October 2023 to finely manage medical consumables.Results:By establishing a dedicated logistics center and inventory system within the hospital,the SPD model effectively enhances internal logistical efficiency,reduces consumable management costs,and achieves precise supply of medical consumables.The support of information technology further enhances the accuracy of consumable flow monitoring,providing a basis for procurement planning and inventory management.Conclusion:The SPD management model holds potential advantages in managing high-value medical consumables within hospitals.Through prudent resource allocation,information technology support,and meticulous management,it contributes to enhancing hospital logistics efficiency and service levels.However,challenges need to be addressed to ensure its successful implementation and maximum benefits.
