Clinical Efficacy of Ultrasound-Guided Stellate Ganglion Block in the Treatment of Migraine
Objective:To explore the effectiveness and safety of ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion block in the treatment of migraine. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 84 patients admitted to our hospital from July 2020 to June 2022 with suspected planetary ganglion block due to long-term migraine. The above patients were divided into two groups, the ultrasound group(n=42)and the traditional group(n=42).The ultrasound group underwent ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion block, while the traditional group underwent traditional blind puncture stellate ganglion block based on anatomical structure.Record the degree of headache(VAS score),attack frequency, duration, treatment effectiveness, and adverse reactions of two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results:Compared with before treatment, the symptoms of migraine in both groups of patients improved significantly after treatment, with a significant decrease in headache VAS score, frequency of attacks, and duration(P<0.05);And the effective rate of the ultrasound group was better than that of the traditional group(P<0.05),and the adverse reactions were lower than that of the traditional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound guided stellate ganglion block has a significant therapeutic effect on migraine patients with minimal adverse reactions.
