Ultrasound Imaging Characteristics and Clinical Application of Gouty Arthritis
Objective:To explore the ultrasound imaging characteristics and clinical application of gouty arthritis. Methods:Collected 65 patients with gouty arthritis admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 as the observation group, and compared them with 65 non gouty arthritis patients selected during the same period as the control group.Compare the ultrasound imaging results of two groups of patients. Results:The number of joint lesions in the observation group was 75,while the number of joint lesions in the control group was 76.The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the observation group,29 metatarsophalangeal joints(38.66%),24 ankle joints(32.0%),and 15 knee joints(20%)were the most common sites of gouty arthritis.Compared with the control group, patients with gouty arthritis are more likely to exhibit ultrasound imaging features such as needle like hyperechogenicity, double track sign, tendon hyperechogenicity, and gout stones in the joint(P<0.05).Conclusion:The ultrasound imaging features can assist physicians in the diagnosis of gouty arthritis, with high specificity and positive predictive value.
