Application of Lean Management in Standardized Management of Medical Consumables in Operating Room
Objective:To explore the effect of lean management in the standardized management of medical consumables in operating rooms,and to provide guidance for improving the utilization rate of medical resources and regulating the use process of medical consumables.Methods:From January to December 2018 and from January to December 2022 were taken as the research stages,and the use of medical consumables in operating rooms during this period was taken as the research index.In 2018,conventional operating room medical consumables management was adopted,and lean management was adopted in 2022.The storage of medical consumables in the operating room and the satisfaction of doctors were evaluated.Results:Compared with 2018,the inventory types of medical consumables in the operating room in 2022 were less,the specification types were also relatively low,the total inventory capital was reduced compared with 2018,and the inventory area was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).The satisfaction of surgeons on the supply of medical time in 2022 was higher than that in 2018(P＜0.05).The proportion of medical consumables leakage charges in the operating room in 2022 decreased significantly compared with 2018,and the incidence of non-correspondence between invoices and items also decreased significantly compared with 2018(P＜0.05).Conclusion:In the standardized management of medical consumables in operating room,lean management is helpful to improve the turnover rate of medical consumables,reduce inventory occupation,more conducive to rational use of resources,and reduce unnecessary waste and loss.
