Study on the Therapeutic Effect of Microvascular Decompression Under Neuroendoscope and Electrophysiological Monitoring on Hemifacial Spasm
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of microvascular decompression under neuroendoscope and electrophysiological monitoring in the treatment of facial spasm. Methods:From March 2020 to January 2022,84 patients with facial spasm in our hospital were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to simple random number table,42 patients in each group. The control group was treated with microvascular decompression under electrophysiological monitoring, while the observation group was treated with neuroendoscope assisted microvascular decompression under electrophysiological monitoring. The treatment effect, complication rate, quality of life before and after operation, and disease recurrence rate of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group(97.61%)was higher than that of the control group(92.85%)(P<0.05);The incidence of complications in the observation group(2.38%)was lower than that in the control group(9.52%)(P<0.05);HFS-8 in the two groups after operation was lower than that before operation, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);The disease recurrence rate in the observation group 0)was lower than that in the control group(4.76%),but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Microvascular decompression combined with neuroendoscope and electrophysiological monitoring can improve the therapeutic effect of hemifacial spasm, reduce complications, reduce the recurrence rate of disease to a certain extent, and improve the quality of life of patients.
