The Effect of Two Different Root Canal Treatments on the Incidence of Complications and Negative Emotions in Patients with Dental Pulp
Objective:After comparing two groups of methods, this study aims to explore the impact of using two different root canal treatments on the incidence of complications and negative emotions in patients with dental pulp disease. Methods:From July 2022 to December 2022,a total of 84 patients admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into a observation group(42 cases)and a control group(42 cases)using a random number table method. The control group was given multiple root canal treatments, while the observation group received one-time root canal treatment.Compare and analyze the clinical efficacy, complications, gum condition, chewing ability, and psychological status of the observation group and the control group before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the observation group(95.24%)was higher than that of the control group(78.57%);Compared to the control group, the observation group had smaller PD after treatment, and the two groups had lower scores than before treatment. The observation group had lower GI,BI,SAS,and SDS scores, and both groups had lower scores than before treatment; After treatment, the bite force of the observation group was greater, and the chewing efficiency was higher in both groups than before treatment, both of which were higher than before treatment; After treatment, the incidence of complications in the observation group(4.76%)was lower than that in the control group(19.05%),P<0.05.Conclusion:Single use root canal therapy can avoid the occurrence of complications in patients with dental pulp disease, improve gum condition and psychological state, enhance chewing ability, and have significant therapeutic effects, which is beneficial for prognosis.
