Application of Nasal High Flow Nasal Catheter Humidification Oxygen Therapy in Patients with Pneumonia and Respiratory Failure After Invasive Ventilator Evacuation
Objective:To explore the application effect of nasal high flow nasal catheter humidification oxygen therapy in patients with pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure after invasive ventilator evacuation.Methods:70 patients with pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into a control group(non-invasive positive pressure ventilation therapy after invasive ventilator evacuation)and an observation group(nasal high flow nasal catheter humidification oxygen therapy),and the treatment effects were compared.Results:The total effective rate,clinical symptom disappearance time,inflammatory response,and dyspnea score of the observation group were better than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Transnasal high flow nasal catheter humidification oxygen therapy can help improve clinical symptoms and inflammatory reactions in patients with pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure after invasive ventilator evacuation,and has high safety.
