Effect of Total Knee Joint Replacement on Joint Function Recovery and Prognosis of Patients with Traumatic Knee Arthritis
Objective:To explore the effect of total knee arthroplasty(TKA)on the recovery of joint function and prognosis of traumatic knee arthritis.Methods:85 patients with traumatic knee osteoarthritis admitted from March 2020 to May 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group(n=43)and a control group(n=42)using a number table method. The control group was treated with conservative medication, while the observation group was treated with TKA surgery.Compare the excellent and good rate of patients'knee joints, compare the changes in pain severity(VAS),and compare the changes in knee joint HSS scores before and after treatment. Results:The excellent and good joint rate in the observation group was 88.37%higher than that in the control group, which was 61.90%(P<0.05);After treatment, the VAS scores of pain in the observation group at 14 and 30 days were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);The HSS scores of the knee joints were all improved, and after 30 days of treatment, the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of TKA in the treatment of traumatic knee osteoarthritis has a good application effect, alleviating patient pain and improving knee joint function.
