Analysis of the Role of PDCA Cycle Management in Reducing Room Device Handover
Objective:To explore and analyze the role of PDCA cycle management in reducing the non-standard operation of operating room device handover.Methods:501 cases of operating room devices from December 2019 to January 2022 were selected as the study object and assigned to PDCA cycle management as the research group;500 devices from December 2018 to November 2019 were selected as the control group to analyze the differences of packaging quality,equipment management,device cleaning quality,accuracy of the handover form,personal protection and disinfection and sterilization.Results:The packaging quality,equipment management and device cleaning quality of the study group were better than the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of adverse events of device disinfection supply was better than the control group(P<0.05);The irregular operation rates of contaminated device checking and classification,device cleaning,device cleaning and assembly,manual cleaning and appliances were lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The PDCA cycle management reduces the irregular operation effect in the operating room,which can improve the overall quality of device management and reduce adverse events.
