The Application Value of Cardiac Color Doppler Ultrasound in Diagnosis of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation in Elderly Patients and Its Impact on Patient Diagnosis Rate
Objective:To explore the value and diagnostic rate of echocardiography in the diagnosis of elderly paroxysmal atrial fibrillation(AF).Methods:96 elderly patients with AF admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to March 2023 were selected.According to whether the patients had paroxysmal AF,they were divided into a paroxysmal AF group of 42 cases and a non paroxysmal AF group of 54 cases. All patients underwent cardiac ultrasound examination and clinical examination.Evaluate the diagnosis, missed diagnosis, and misdiagnosis of cardiac ultrasound examination methods;Compare the average interval between cardiac ultrasound examination indicators and the average left atrial diameter between two groups. Results:The diagnostic rate of AF using cardiac ultrasound examination was 97.92%,and there was no statistically significant difference compared with clinical examination results(P>0.05);The average value of the interval between rhythms in the paroxysmal AF group was lower than that in the non paroxysmal AF group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the average left atrial diameter between the two groups. Conclusion:For elderly patients with paroxysmal AF,the diagnostic accuracy of cardiac ultrasound examination is high.
