Study on the Application Effect of Lead Wire Fixator for ECG Monitor
Objective:To explore the application effect of a lead wire fixator for ECG monitor.Methods:A total of 84 patients who received electrocardiogram monitoring treatment for more than 5 days at Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from August 2022 to July 2023 were included as the study subjects.All observation subjects were randomly divided into a control group(n=42)and an observation group(n=42)using a random number table method.The control group used the traditional ECG monitor lead wire arrangement method,and the observation group used the ECG monitor lead wire fixation device.The incidence of adverse events,nursing satisfaction and the time spent by nursing staff arranging the lead lines were compared between the two groups.Results:In terms of adverse events,the total number of repairs reported by the two groups of patients was 8 times,and the total number of lead wire dropouts was 161 times.Among them,the dropout rate of the control group patients was 76.40%(123 times),and the repair rate was 87.50%(7 times);The dropout rate of patients in the observation group was 23.60%(38 times),and the repair rate was 12.50%(1 time);The lead repair rate,dropout rate,and lead sorting time of the observation group patients were significantly lower than or less than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total score of the nursing satisfaction questionnaire in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the traditional cardiac conductance arrangement method,the lead wire fixation device using ECG monitor is more simple and efficient,and can effectively reduce the lead line loss and improve patient satisfaction.
