The Value of Combined CT and MRI Enhanced Scanning in Differential Diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer and Chronic Pancreatitis
Objective:To explore the value of combining enhanced CT and MRI in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis,so as to provide effective support for clinical treatment. Methods:The enhanced MSCT and MRI scanning data of one hundred and twenty patients with pancreatic diseases treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.Among these patients,58 were diagnosed as pancreatic cancer, and 62 were diagnosed as chronic pancreatitis; To analyze the relationship between the imaging characteristics of pancreatic lesions and the nature of the lesions, and to explore the value of combining the two scanning methods in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Results:The prominent imaging features in patients with chronic pancreatitis were:lesions and surrounding tissue cysts, calcification of lesion sites, arterial phase enhancement, and strong dilatation of pancreatic bile ducts. The above imaging features were significantly different from those in patients with pancreatic cancer(P<0.05);The prominent imaging features of pancreatic cancer patients are:enlargement of the pancreas, invasion of adjacent tissues and great vessels, and enlargement of adjacent lymphadenopathy. The above imaging features are significantly different from those of chronic pancreatitis patients(P<0.05).The accuracy of CT scanning for pancreatic cancer patients was 62.07%,and the diagnostic accuracy for chronic pancreatitis patients was 62.90%;The accuracy of MRI scanning for pancreatic cancer patients reached 63.79%,while the accuracy of chronic pancreatitis patients reached 67.74%.There was no difference in the accuracy of patient diagnosis(P>0.05).The accuracy of combined CT and MRI scanning in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer reached 89.66%,and in the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis patients reached 92.00%.The accuracy was significantly higher than using a single method, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of CT and MRI enhanced scanning can achieve accurate diagnosis of pancreatic diseases, determine whether the patient is pancreatic cancer or chronic pancreatitis, enable patients to carry out targeted sex therapy as soon as possible, can effectively improve the survival rate of patients with pancreatic cancer.
