Comparison of Diagnostic Classification Consistency Between Ultrasound and MRI for 3-5 Types of Breast BI-RADS Tumors
Objective:To compare the effect and consistency of ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging in clinical diagnosis of BI-RADS3-5 breast tumors. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 193 patients with breast masses admitted and treated in Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from May 2020 to January 2023.They were respectively examined by ultrasound and MRI.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the two techniques were calculated using surgical pathological diagnosis results as the gold standard. The consistency of diagnosis of BI-RADS3-5 tumors was analyzed, and the consistency of localization of breast tumors diagnosed by ultrasound and MRI was also discussed. In addition, the ultrasonographic and MRI findings of patients with breast tumors were summarized. Results:Among 193 patients with breast tumors,123 cases were diagnosed as malignant breast tumors, accounting for 63.73%,and 70 cases were diagnosed as benign breast tumors, accounting for 36.27%.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic diagnosis were 91.06%,95.71%and 92.75%respectively.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of MRI were 93.50%,98.57%and 95.34%respectively.The sensitivity and accuracy of combined diagnosis of the two techniques were significantly higher than that of single diagnosis(P<0.05).In addition, the analysis results showed that ultrasound and MRI had a high consistency in the diagnosis of breast tumors. Conclusion:In clinical diagnosis of BI-RADS3-5 breast tumors, good sensitivity and accuracy can be obtained through both ultrasound and MRI technology, and the consistency of tumor location is better.Meanwhile, the combined diagnosis effect of the two is more ideal, which can provide reliable image and data support for clinical practice.
