The Effect of Guided Bone Regeneration(GBR)Technique on Alveolar Bone Resorption in Patients with Periodontitis Undergoing Simultaneous Implantation of Teeth
Objective:To explore the effect of guided bone regeneration(GBR)technology on alveolar bone resorption in patients with periodontitis during simultaneous implantation of teeth. Methods:Selected 50 cases of dental implants with periodontitis patients in our hospital as the object, the sample cases included in the time range of January 2022 to June 2022,take the random number table method of grouping, each 25 cases, the reference group to implement dental implant treatment, the study group to implement dental implants during the same period of GBR treatment.Comparison of alveolar bone resorption and periodontal condition of the two groups. Results:After six months and one year of treatment, the absorption of proximal and distal bone in the study group was higher than that in the reference group(P<0.05);After six months of treatment, the gingival index, gingival sulcus bleeding index, and plaque index scores of the study group were lower than those of the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:GBR treatment at the same time as dental implants can effectively improve the periodontal condition of the patient, preventing severe bone resorption around the implant and improving the patient's oral health.
