Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis and staging of cancer,as well as in the prognosis prediction and effect evaluation of radiotherapy.Radiomics,through deeper analysis of medical images,can reveal novel image features that can provide useful diagnostic,prognostic,or predictive information.In this article,we provide an overview of radiomics,including its principle,process and clinical application in tumor radiotherapy.Finally,the existing problems in this field are introduced,and the possible future directions of radiomics are proposed to better achieve clinical translation.
