Objective:To summarize the characteristics of patients with foreign bodies in upper digestive tract and the application and operation of endoscopic therapy.Methods:30 patients with foreign bodies in the upper digestive tract from January 2021 to July 2022 were selected,history combined with imaging to understand foreign body,under the direct vision of endoscope,appropriate instruments were selected for treatment and the mucosal injury at the site of foreign body embedment was observed,the foreign body should be removed after 24 hours of water fasting,and watch for any bleeding,perforation and heating,a gastric tube should be placed in patients with perforation,acid inhibition,anti-infection and nutritional support.Results:Among the 30 patients with foreign bodies in the upper gastrointestinal tract who entered the study,there were 18 males,accounting for 60.00%,and 12 females,accounting for 40.00%;There are 7 cases under the age of 18,accounting for 23.33%;There were 2 cases aged between 19 and 40 years old,accounting for 6.67%;There were 3 cases aged between 41 and 60 years old,accounting for 10.00%;There were 18 cases over 61 years old,accounting for 60.00%.There were 15 cases of foreign bodies in jujube pits,accounting for 50.00%,10 cases of foreign bodies in fish bones,accounting for 33.33%,and 5 cases of gastric stones,accounting for 16.67%.15 patients with esophageal jujube nucleus foreign body underwent endoscopic foreign body removal surgery,all of which were removed using foreign body forceps with a success rate of 100%.There were 2 complications,all of which were mild hematomas;10 cases of esophageal fishbone foreign bodies were treated with endoscopic foreign body removal surgery,all of which were removed using foreign body forceps with a success rate of 100%.1 case had a complication,which was mild mucosal injury;5 patients with gastric stones underwent endoscopic lithotripsy,all of which were repeatedly cut into small pieces using an electric snare and then removed with a mesh box.The success rate was 100%,and there were 2 complications,all of which were mild gastric mucosal injuries.Conclusion:Food is a common type,and endoscopic treatment with appropriate instruments can effectively treat foreign body in upper gastrointestinal tract.
