Comparison of CT and MRI in Diagnosis of Lacunar Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of CT and MRI in lacunar cerebral infarction(LI).Methods:93 patients with LI who were admitted to hospital between January 2020 and August 2023 were selected.CT diagnosis and MRI diagnosis were performed to compare the diagnostic effect. Results:The positive detection rate of MRI group was higher than that of CT group, and the detection rate of all lesion locations in MRI group was higher than that in CT group, and the comparative data were different(P<0.05).The detection rate of lesions<24h in MRI group was higher than that in CT group(P<0.05).Taking surgical pathology as the gold standard, the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and positive predictive value of MRI group were higher than those of CT group(P<0.05).The diameter of infarcts detected in MRI group was larger than that in CT group, the number of lesions was larger than that in CT group, the detection time was longer than that in CT group, and the examination cost was larger than that in CT group, with differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:MRI has a higher detection rate of LI,can determine the location of the lesion, and clearly diagnose the disease in the early stage, and has a high diagnostic efficiency. However, its detection time is long and the inspection cost is high,so it has limitations. In clinical diagnosis, diagnosis methods can be reasonably selected according to the actual situation of patients,so as to improve the efficiency of disease diagnosis.
