MRI Diagnosis of Medial Patellofemoral Ligament Injury After Acute Lateral Patellar Dislocation in Adolescents
Objective:To analyze the MRI diagnosis of medial patellofemoral ligament injury after acute lateral dislocation of patella in adolescents.Methods:66 patients with medial patellofemoral ligament injury after acute lateral patellar dislocation admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected and divided into adolescent and adult groups according to their age.33 patients each. All patients were examined by MRI,and the diagnosis of the two groups was performed. Results:There was no significant difference in related indicators such as complete tear, partial tear, ligament injury, body injury, and combined injury between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of patella injury was 63.64%in the adolescent group,27.27%in the femur side, and 51.52%in the adult group. The incidence of femur side injury was 39.39%,and the difference between the two was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For the medial patellofemoral ligament injury after acute lateral patellar dislocation in adolescents,MRI diagnosis results show that the patients are mainly grade II and III injuries, the incidence of complete tear is higher than that of partial tear, and the injury site is mainly concentrated on the patellar side, which has an important role in the treatment of patients.
