Analysis of the Role and Diagnostic Accuracy of Cardiovascular Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Cardiovascular Diseases
Objective:To analyze the role and diagnostic accuracy of cardiovascular ultrasound in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. Methods:From January 2022 to August 2023,1666 patients with cardiovascular diseases admitted to our hospital were selected as the study subjects. All patients underwent cardiovascular ultrasound examination, and the"gold standard"was angiography results. The vascular ultrasound examination results, pulmonary artery systolic pressure and regurgitation velocity with different degrees of tricuspid regurgitation, left and right atrium diameters, and aorta inner diameter with different degrees of main trunk stenosis were analyzed and compared. Results:Cardiovascular ultrasound detected 320 cases of coronary heart disease,413 cases with lower limb venous thrombosis, and 925 cases of pulmonary embolism, with diagnostic accuracy similar to angiography results(P>0.05).Patients with main stenosis≤50%had lower left atrial diameter, aortic diameter, and right atrial diameter compared to patients with main stenosis>50%(P<0.05).Patients with mild tricuspid regurgitation have lower pulmonary artery systolic pressure and reflux velocity than those with moderate or severe tricuspid regurgitation(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of cardiovascular ultrasound in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases has high accuracy, can reflect the severity of the condition, prominent imaging features, and can provide objective reference for disease diagnosis and prognosis evaluation.
