Construction and Application of an Intelligent Fine Management Platform for High Value Consumables in the Operating Room
Objective:To explore the construction of an intelligent management platform for high-value consumables in operating rooms based on refined management mode,and the application effect of the platform in managing consumables.Methods:Using the pre implementation(April to June 2022)and post implementation(April to June 2023)of intelligent refined management of high-value consumables in our hospital as a reference,we conducted secondary library management using the Hospital Resource Planning Platform(HRP)system combined with Unique Device Identification(UDI)identification and barcode technology for medical devices,compare the management efficiency of high-value consumables before and after platform construction,as well as the work efficiency and satisfaction of operating room nurses.Results:The management effect of high value consumables after platform construction is significantly better than before,and the management time is significantly reduced,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After the platform was built,the work efficiency of operating room nurses during the period of high-value consumables management was better than before,and the number of itinerant nurses going out significantly decreased(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events related to consumables management has significantly decreased,especially with a decrease in string yield of 0;The overall satisfaction of medical works has significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion:During the management of high value consumables in the operating room,the use of refined management mode can not only improve the work efficiency of operating room nurses and satisfaction of medical staff,but also improve the use of high value consumables.It is worth actively applying in the management of high value consumables in the operating room.
