Clinical Study of Gasless Transoral Endoscopic Surgery in Thyroid Carcinoma
Objective:To compare the efficacy of gasless and gas transoral endoscopic surgery for the treatment of papillary thyroid cancer. Methods:Collect clinical data of 60 female patients admitted to Liuzhou Workers Hospital from July 2021 to December 2023 who underwent transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach for thyroid cancer.According to the different surgical methods, they were divided into an observation group of 30 cases of gasless ransoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular and a control group of 30 cases of gas ransoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular. The perioperative indicators and postoperative complications of the two groups of patients were compared and analyzed. Results:All patients in both groups successfully completed the surgery without any conversion to open surgery, and no CO2 gas embolism occurred. There was no statistically significant difference in intraoperative blood loss and CO2 partial pressure between the two groups(P>0.05).The number of intraoperative lens erasures in the observation group(11.83±3.73)was lower than that in the control group(22.23±2.80);The surgical time in the observation group(135.57±14.42)was shorter than that in the control group(147.47±25.95),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Both groups did not experience incision infection or bleeding after surgery. There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in terms of postoperative hoarseness, coughing after drinking water, and chin numbness. Conclusion:Gasless transoral endoscopic surgery for thyroid cancer is safe, reliable, and has good application prospects.
