Objective:To study the application of automatic blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology in blood routine clinical examination.Methods:100 patients who underwent blood routine tests in our hospital from July 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the main study subjects. All study subjects underwent clinical blood routine tests using a fully automated blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology. The results of individual and combined tests were statistically analyzed and compared, and the detection rates of the two different methods on blood routine indicators were compared. Results:The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of automatic blood cell analyzer were 87.18%,50.00%and 78.00%respectively.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 84.72%,75.00%and 72.00%respectively.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of automatic blood cell analyzer combined with blood smear cell morphology were 98.78%,85.00%and 98.00%respectively.There was no statistical significance in the detection rates of lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils and eosinophils between automatic blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology(P>0.05).The detection rate of basophil by automatic blood cell analyzer was significantly lower than that of blood smear cell morphology, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of automatic blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology has significant advantages in blood routine clinical examination, with higher sensitivity, specificity and accuracy.
