To Compare the Clinical Effect of Multiple Root Canal Therapy and One-Time Root Canal Therapy in Patients with Endodontic Diseases
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of multiple root canal therapy and one-time root canal therapy on patients with endodontic diseases. Methods:A total of 72 patients with endodontic diseases admitted to Ji'an First People's Hospital from May to November 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the experimental group(36 cases)and the control group(36 cases). The experimental group was given one-time root canal therapy, and the control group was given multiple root canal therapy. Results:The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,P<0.05.Before treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors, bite force,VAS score, gingival index, and masticatory function score were compared between the two groups(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,P<0.05.After 2 weeks of treatment, the bite force and masticatory efficiency of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the gingival index and VAS score were lower than those of the control group,P<0.05.The incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusions:In the treatment of endodontic diseases, the effect of one-time root canal therapy is better than that of multiple root canal therapy, and it has the advantage of fewer complications.
