Detection Rate and Imaging Feature Analysis of Multi-Slice Spiral CT in Acute Pulmonary Embolism
Objective:To analyze the application value of multi-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of acute pulmonary embolism, and to observe the detection rate and imaging characteristics of multi-slice spiral CT in acute pulmonary embolism.Methods:20 suspected cases of acute pulmonary embolism received in the hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the observation objects for this study.Multi-slice spiral CT was used, and angiography was used as the gold standard to analyze the detection rate(accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, positive predictive value)and imaging characteristics of multi-slice spiral CT for diseases. Results:Using angiography as the gold standard,16 patients with acute pulmonary embolism were detected as positive, while the remaining 4 patients were negative;Multi-slice spiral CT detected 4 cases of true negative,16 cases of true positive,0 cases of false negative, and 0 cases of false positive; The detection rate of acute pulmonary embolism was compared between multi-slice spiral CT and gold standard, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Multi-slice spiral CT has a relatively high disease detection rate, sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of acute pulmonary embolism, with a small difference in detection rate compared to the gold standard. It can provide higher quality imaging images for clinical observation of disease characteristics, provide reference for subsequent diagnosis and treatment.
