To Investigate the MRI Findings of Acromion and Its Clinical Relationship with Supraspinatus and Infraspinatus Muscle Injuries
Objective:To explore and analyze the imaging findings of acromion MRI and its clinical relationship with supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscle injuries. Methods:Our hospital from February 2020 to June 2022 were the acromion impingement of 65 cases of patients as observation group and 60 cases of no acromion impingement as control group. The acromion MRI imaging findings of two groups, observation and to match the peak when MRI diagnosis of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus injury incidence;According to the bone marrow edema and dislocation around acromial impingement syndrome,it is divided into edema type and non-edema type.According to the presence or absence of dislocation, they were divided into dislocation type and non-dislocation type. The incidence of supraspinatus and infraspinatus injuries at the time of acromial MRI diagnosis was also compared. Results:There was no significant difference in the incidence of rotator cuff tears, supraspinatus muscle injury, and infraspinatus muscle injury between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the injury rate of supraspinatus and infraspinatus between the edema type and the non-edema type(P>0.05).The proportion of supraspinatus muscle lacerations and infraspinatus muscle lacerations in the non-malposition type was lower than that in the wrong type, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acromial MRI has a certain application value in the diagnosis of acromial impingement syndrome,edema-type or dislocated-type shoulder impingement syndrome can to some extent increase the risk of supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscle tears.
