Design of a Low Power Cochlear Implant Sound Processor System
In order to enhance the battery service time of cochlear implant sound processor,a novel cochlear implant sound processor system has been designed. This system exhibits self-adaptive characteristics, enabling it to adapt to varying coupling distances of the implant, and dynamically regulate the operational power consumption of the main control chip and external modules. The key of this low-power system lies in the dynamic power management of the main control chip, the optimisation of the device management, and switching of the operation states, which significantly reduces radio transmitter power over varying coupling distances and acoustic environments and power loss during equipment operation.
