Clinical Effect Analysis of Mammography in Breast Cancer Screening
Objective:To study the clinical effect of mammography in breast cancer screening.Methods:140 patients with breast cancer screening admitted to the hospital from March 2021 to August 2023 were selected for the trial.Mammography and pathological examination were performed in all patients. They were divided into breast cancer group(n=69)and benign lesion group(n=71)according to the difference of pathological examination results. The imaging features of mammography were compared between the two groups, and the efficiency of mammography in the diagnosis of breast cancer and the detection of breast cancer with different diameter and pathological types were analyzed. Results:The proportion of patients with unsmooth edges, lobed signs, burrs, calcification and non-enveloped imaging features in breast cancer group were higher than those in benign lesion group(all P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of mammography in the diagnosis of breast cancer were 82.61%,60.56%,71.43%,67.06%and 78.18%.The detection rate of mammogram for breast cancer<1.0cm in diameter and 1.0-1.5cm in diameter was significantly lower than that of pathological examination(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the detection rate of breast cancer with diameter>1.5cm and the pathological examination results(P>0.05).The detection rate of mammogram for different pathological types of breast cancer was not significant compared with the results of pathological examination(all P>0.05).Conclusion:The effect of mammography is better in breast cancer screening.
