The Application of Full Process Quality Control in External Instruments of Disinfection Supply Centers and Its Value in Improving Management Quality
Objective:To analyze the application of full process quality control in external instruments of disinfection supply centers and its value in improving management quality.Methods:733 external instruments received by our hospital from January 2023 to October 2023 were selected and divided into different groups at different time points.January to May 2023 was used as the control group(365 instruments,routine management),and June to October 2023 was used as the observation group(368 instruments,full process quality control management).Compare the quality of device management and the occurrence of adverse device management events between two groups.Results:The sterilization qualification rate,packaging qualification rate,cleaning qualification rate,and postoperative backwash rate of the observation group were 100.00%,99.73%,100.00%,and 100.00%,significantly higher than the control group's 97.26%,98.08%,97.53%,95.89%,and 97.81%(P<0.05);The incidence rates of instrument damage,wet packaging,instrument loss,and inconsistent instrument information registration in the observation group were 0.27%,0.27%,0,and 0.54%,significantly lower than the control group's 1.92%,2.19%,1.64%,and 2.47%(P<0.05).Conclusion:Full process quality control can improve the management quality of external instruments in disinfection supply centers.
