Research on the Application of Lean Management Mode in the Hospital Disinfection Supply Center
Objective:To discuss the application effect of lean management mode in the hospital disinfection supply center.Methods:The central sterile supply department of our hospital has been implementing lean management since January 2023.Selected 300 cleaned medical devices from CSSD from January 2023 to December 2023 as the observation group;Meanwhile,300 cleaned medical devices without lean management from January 2022 to December 2022 as the control group.Medical device quality test results,incidence of medical device adverse events and operating theatre nursing staffsatisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:Through the introduction of lean management concept,the staffin the recovery,distribution,cleaning and packaging quality of the devices were significantly higher than before implementation(P<0.05);The incidence of wet bag,breakage,damage and loss was significantly lower than that before implementation(P<0.05);And the satisfaction score of hospital nurses was higher than before implementation(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the management of disinfection supply center,the lean management strategy can significantly improve the cleaning,disinfection and sterilization effect of medical devices,reduce the incidence of adverse events,enhance the satisfaction of nursing staff,so as to achieve the overall improvement of management quality.
