Difficulties and Countermeasures in the Management of External Medical Devices and Implants in the Disinfection Supply Room
Objective:To study the value of targeted management of external medical devices and implants in disinfection supply rooms,and summarize the difficulties in management.Methods:16 nursing staffengaged in the treatment of external medical devices and implants in our hospital's disinfection supply room from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected.The phase of implementing conventional management mode from January 2021 to December 2021 is defined as the control group,and the phase of implementing targeted management mode from January 2022 to December 2022 is defined as the observation group.Compare the work compliance,error incidents during work,department complaint rates,satisfaction with management models,and assessment scores before and after management intervention between the two groups of research subjects.Results:The work compliance of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);The rate of error related incidents and department complaints during the work period of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);The satisfaction of the observation group with the management model was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);The improvement in assessment scores before and after management intervention in the observation group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The disinfection supply room has a significant effect on implementing targeted management of external medical devices and implants.
