The Application of Cryogenic Hydrogen Peroxide Plasma and Pulsating Vacuum Pressure Steam Sterilization in the Management of Luminal Surgical Instruments
Objective:The application effect of different sterilization techniques in the management of luminal surgical instruments was analyzed. Methods:Among the hospital surgical instruments,100 luminal surgical instruments were selected as research objects, and randomly divided into group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ by numerical table, with 50 pieces of each component sterilized by the same cleaning method, group Ⅰ was sterilized by low temperature hydrogen peroxide plasma, and the group Ⅱ was sterilized by pulsating vacuum pressure steam. The sterilization time and sterilization temperature of the two groups were compared, and the sterilization effect and the bacterial growth were compared for 3 months,6 months,7 months,8 months and 9 months. Results:Group Ⅰ sterilization time was longer than the group Ⅱ,and the sterilization temperature was lower than the group Ⅱ(P<0.05).The sterilization qualification rate of group Ⅰ instruments at 4h and 6h after cleaning was lower than the group Ⅱ(P<0.05).The luminal surgical instruments were kept for 6 months, and the ATP fluorescence test did not exceed the RLU value, and the sterilization effect was qualified. However, since 7 months of preservation, the qualified rate of ATP fluorescence test of the luminal surgical instruments in the group Ⅱ gradually decreased, and it was lower than that in group I(P<0.05).Conclusion:The long-term sterilization effect of low temperature hydrogen peroxide plasma on luminal surgical instruments is ideal, and the damage of high temperature and high pressure disinfection on luminal surgical instruments is also avoided.
