Application of Philips Brilliance 64 Slice Multi-Slice Spiral CT in Staging Detection of Colon Cancer
Objective:To comprehensively analyze the effectiveness of using Philips Brilliance 64 slice multi-slice spiral CT in staging detection of colon cancer.Methods:A total of 103 colon cancer patients admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects.All patients underwent Philips Brilliance 64 slice multi-slice spiral CT examination to observe and analyze imaging features.The surgical pathological results were used as the"gold standard"to analyze the sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of the instrument in staging colon cancer.Results:In the T stage,the surgical pathological results showed that there were 17 cases of≤T2 stage,27 cases of T3 stage,and 45 cases of T4 stage;The detection results of Philips Brilliance 64 slice multi-slice spiral CT showed that 2 cases of≤T2 phase were overestimated as T3 phase,5 cases of T3 phase were overestimated as T4 phase,and 14 cases of T4 phase were underestimated as T3 phase.In the N stage,there were 40 cases in N0 stage,38 cases in N1 stage,and 25 cases in N2 stage;The CT detection results showed that 1 case of N0 phase was overestimated as N2 phase,4 cases were overestimated as N1 phase,2 cases were underestimated as N0 phase,2 cases were overestimated as N2 phase,and 6 cases were underestimated as N1 phase.In the M stage,there were 96 cases in M0 stage and 27 cases in M1 stage.4 cases in M0 stage were overestimated as M1 stage,and 2 cases in M1 stage were underestimated as M0 stage.Philips Brilliance 64 slice multi-slice spiral CT has high sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy in T stage,N stage,and M stage,with the highest sensitivity reaching 94.74%(M0 stage),the highest specificity reaching 100%(≤T2 stage),and the highest accuracy reaching 98.06%(≤T2 stage,M1 stage).Conclusion:Philips Brilliance 64 slice multi-slice spiral CT can improve the accuracy of pathological staging of colon cancer and is consistent with postoperative pathological examination.It has high clinical application value and can guide subsequent treatment,improving overall treatment efficiency.
