Study on Closed Reduction Techniques in PFNA Internal Fixation for Intertrochanteric Fractures of the Femur
Objective:This article aims to study the reduction techniques during PFNA internal fixation surgery for patients with intertrochanteric fractures of the femur. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with intertrochanteric fractures of the femur admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023.66 patients were randomly selected as the study subjects, all of whom underwent reduction PFNA internal fixation surgery.Reduction techniques were selected according to the specific situation of the patients, and they were divided into two groups to complete the surgery.33 patients with difficult reduction were treated with open reduction and set as the control group. The other 33 patients were treated with closed reduction PFNA internal fixation surgery and set as the observation group. The surgical conditions of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results:Compared with the control group, the observation group had shorter surgical costs, less intraoperative bleeding, shorter postoperative healing time, bed removal time, and hospital stay, and fewer complications(P<0.05);Before surgery, there was no significant difference in Harris score,VAS score, inflammatory factor level, and ROM score compared to patients(P>0.05).After surgical treatment, the observation group had better indicators and scores(P<0.05).Conclusion:For the treatment of patients with intertrochanteric fractures of the femur, the closed reduction technique during PFNA internal fixation surgery has a significant therapeutic effect, which is beneficial for reducing surgical pain, reducing a series of surgical complications, and promoting the recovery of joint function.
