Application of Fully Automatic Blood Cell Analyzer Combined with Blood Smear Cell Morphology in Blood Routine Testing
Objective:To explore the application of a fully automated blood cell analyzer and a combined test of blood smear cell morphology in blood routine testing. Methods:From November 2022 to November 2023,400 patients in Xiamen Haicang Hospital who underwent blood routine tests were selected.A fully automated blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology tests were used to compare and analyze the positive detection rates of single and combined blood cell tests,as well as the effects of different examination methods on the patient's blood sample toxic particle/vacuolar degeneration, atypical lymphoid and nucleated red blood cell positive rates. Results:Compared with a single fully automated blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology testing method, the detection rate of the combined diagnostic test was higher, and the lymphatic difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while the other values were not statistically significant(P>0.05);Compared with the morphology of single blood smear cells and the detection method of fully automated blood cell analyzer, the positive rates of toxic particle/vacuolar degeneration, atypical lymph, and nucleated red blood cells were higher in patients after combined diagnosis, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:For patients undergoing blood routine testing,it was found that compared with a single testing method, the use of a fully automated blood cell analyzer and blood smear cell morphology combined testing can help reduce the occurrence of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis. The positive rate obtained from the test is higher, making up for the shortcomings of different testing methods, successfully improving the accuracy of blood routine testing, helping to improve the quality of testing, and facilitating early treatment of diseases, provide reference basis for the diagnosis and treatment of patient's condition.
