Application Analysis of Fully Automatic Blood Culture Instrument and Microbial Identification Instrument in Clinical Blood Testing
Objective:To discuss the effectiveness and application value of microbial identification devices and fully automated blood culture devices in evaluating blood testing.Methods:A total of 360 blood infection patients who underwent blood tests at our disease control institution from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a reference group and an experimental group,with 180 cases each.The reference group was tested using a microbial identification device,while the experimental group was tested using a fully automated blood culture device.The results of the inter group tests were compared.Results:There was no statistically significant difference in sensitivity and accuracy between the two groups(P>0.05);The cost and speed of detection in the reference group were higher than those in the experimental group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The sensitivity and accuracy of using a microbiological identification device and a fully automated blood culture device for blood testing of blood infected patients are comparable.However,the medical cost of a fully automated blood culture device is not high,and the testing time is short,with high application value.
