Effect and Prognosis of Extra-Corporeal Shock Wave with Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography Combined with Skin Acupuncture in the Treatment of Intractable External Humeral Epicondylitis
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound-guided extra-corporeal shock wave therapy(ESWT)and skin acupuncture in the treatment of refractory tennis elbow. Methods:A total of 62 patients with intractable tennis elbow 2021 from October to October 2022 were selected and divided into test group and control group. The joint function, therapeutic effect, pain degree, life ability and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results:The scores of pain, daily activity, stability and range of motion in the test group were higher than those in the control group. The total effective rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group. The improvement of pain was compared between the two groups. The pain score of the test group was lower than that of the control group at 1 week and 1 month after treatment. The recovery of life ability in the two groups was observed. The score of life ability in the test group was higher than that in the control group. The relapse rate of the two groups was observed. The relapse rate of the test group was lower than that of the control group at 6 and 12 months after treatment. Conclusion:ESWT guided by musculoskeletal ultrasound combined with skin acupuncture can further improve the curative effect, improve joint function and relieve pain.It can also promote the recovery of life ability and reduce the recurrence rate.
