Exploration and Application of Internal Thoracoscopy in the Diagnosis of Pleural Effusion
Objective:To analyze the diagnostic effect of internal thoracoscopy in pleural effusion.Methods:30 patients with unexplained pleural effusion who were admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to May 2022 were selected. All patients were diagnosed using internal thoracoscopy and the diagnostic results were statistically analyzed.Results:29 patients in this group were diagnosed through internal thoracoscopy, with a diagnostic accuracy rate of 96.67%;Including 6 cases of malignant pleural effusion, accounting for 20.00%of the total,5 cases of inflammatory pleural effusion, accounting for 16.67%of the total,18 cases of tuberculous pleural effusion, accounting for 60.00%of the total, and 1 case of undiagnosed pleural effusion, accounting for 3.33%of the total.A total of 8 complications occurred after internal thoracoscopy examination, including 5 cases of postoperative incision pain,1 case of fever, and 2 cases of subcutaneous emphysema. There were no serious complications such as malignant arrhythmia, recurrent pulmonary edema, and massive bleeding, with a complication rate of 26.67%.Conclusion:Medical thoracoscopy can accurately diagnose pleural effusion, and has many advantages such as simple operation, safety, less trauma and high diagnosis rate.
