Application and Study of Peripheral Venous Indwelling Needle Puncture Guided by Bedside Ultrasound in Children's Intensive Care Unit
Objective:To analyze the application effect of peripheral vein indwelling needle puncture guided by bedside ultrasound in pediatric intensive care units.Methods:40 children admitted to the intensive care unit of our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 who required peripheral vein puncture surgery were selected as the research subjects. They were assigned to the observation group and underwent peripheral vein indwelling needle puncture under bedside ultrasound guidance. At the same time,40 children admitted to the intensive care unit from December 2020 to May 2022 who required peripheral vein puncture surgery were selected as the control group, using routine peripheral vein indwelling needle puncture, compare the success rate, number of punctures, vascular rating, indwelling time, catheterization success rate, complications, number of shedding, conversion to PICC or CVC,and puncture cost between the two groups. Results:The success rate of one puncture, conversion rate to PICC or CVC,puncture frequency, detachment frequency, puncture cost, and incidence of complications in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the success rate of catheterization and retention time were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of peripheral vein indwelling needle puncture guided by bedside ultrasound in children's intensive care unit is significant.
