Clinical Efficacy of Wrist Arthroscopy Assisted Percutaneous Screw Fixation in the Treatment of Scaphoid Fractures
Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of wrist arthroscopy assisted percutaneous screw fixation in the treatment of scaphoid fractures.Methods:42 patients with carpal scaphoid fracture were selected as the study subjects and divided into an observation group(20 cases)and a control group(22 cases)based on different surgical procedures. The observation group received treatment with wrist arthroscopy assisted percutaneous screw fixation, while the control group received treatment with manual reduction and plaster external fixation.Observe the recovery of wrist joint function, pain, fracture healing time, and return to work time between the two groups, and compare the range of motion of the affected and healthy wrist joints. Results:After treatment, the Mayo wrist joint function score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in wrist joint activity between the affected and healthy sides of the observation group(P>0.05),while the wrist joint activity of the affected side was significantly lower than that of the healthy sidein the control group(P<0.05).The VAS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The fracture healing time and return to work time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of carpal scaphoid fractures with wrist arthroscopy assisted percutaneous screw fixation has a significant therapeutic effect.
