Objective:To explore and analyze the value of 3D magnetic resonance sequences in evaluating the relationship between meningiomas and peripheral superficial veins. Methods:A total of 95 patients with meningioma diagnosed and treated in Wuqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine from July 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were given 3D magnetic resonance sequence examination to record the imaging features.Meanwhile, all patients were given surgical examination and this was the gold standard for judgment. Results:Among the 95 patients,32 cases(invasion group)were diagnosed with invasion of peripheral superficial veins through surgical examination, accounting for 33.68%;63 cases(non-invasive group)did not invade the surrounding superficial veins, accounting for 66.32%.There were no significant differences in gender, age, heart rate, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, etc.between the invasive group and the non-invasive group(P>0.05).The proportion of signal features such as cystic necrosis, peritumoral edema, meningeal tail sign, and vascular flow void in the 3D magnetic resonance imaging of the invasive group was 87.50%,81.25%,93.75%,and 87.50%,respectively,while the non-invasive group was 49.21%,44.44%,47.62%,and 49.21%,respectively.The invasive group showed a significant increase compared to the non-invasive group(P<0.05).The cerebral blood flow in the high perfusion and low perfusion areas of the invasive group was significantly increased compared to the non-invasive group(P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of 3D magnetic resonance sequence evaluation of the relationship between meningiomas and peripheral superficial veins were 96.77%(30/31)and 98.44%(63/64),respectively,in 31 cases of invasion of peripheral superficial veins.Conclusion:3D magnetic resonance sequence can accurately and effectively evaluate the relationship between meningioma and peripheral superficial vein, and also has the advantages of simple, safe and non-invasive,which can provide a reference for disease judgment and clinical treatment.
